Skuld – The Future
Skuld is the name of one of the three female beings who create and control fate. They were very powerful entities in the cosmos.
This mead is a wild fermented (no yeast is added) ‘hydromel’ (pure honey mead), using Wildflower honey. Bulk aged for 5 years. This gives it a medium sweet taste and is suitable for drinkers of white wine and also for the purists among mead drinkers.
Can be served however you wish –chilled, over ice, room temperature or warm. Like any aged product, deserves to be savoured.
Also available in a set with Urd (1yr aged) and Verdandi (3yr aged) – available after October 2024.
FREE FROM: Gluten, Wheat, Fish, Dairy, Sulphites, Eggs, Gelatin – suitable for vegetarians
As this is a natural product, some hazing and sedimentation is likely to occur. Leave to settle in a cool, dark place and pour carefully. This a natural part of the maturation process and is not harmful to consumer or product. In fact, it will taste even better for it and it is why we use a decanter style bottle!
