We are extremely excited to be able to release an aged Mead gift set.
This unique gift set called Norns. This set comprises of three meads. Urd, Verdandi and Skuld. The names derive from the three female beings in Norse mythology that create and control fate. They are very powerful entities in the cosmos more so than the gods. The symbol is the Web of Wyrd and represents all the runes. this interwoven symbol represents the complexities of fate.
The meads are a wild ferment (no yeast is added) ‘hydromel’ (pure honey mead), using Wildflower honey in a medium-sweet recipe. They are aged for 1, 3 and 5 years.
Can be served however you wish –chilled, over ice, room temperature or warm. Like any aged product, deserves to be savoured – with friends if willing to share!
FREE FROM: Gluten, Wheat, Fish, Dairy, Sulphites, Eggs, Gelatin – suitable for vegetarians
As this is a natural product, some hazing and sedimentation is likely to occur. Leave to settle in a cool, dark place and pour carefully. This a natural part of the maturation process and is not harmful to consumer or product. In fact, it will taste even better for it and it is why we use a decanter style bottle!
